"We are extremely grateful for...."
“I am writing to let you know what a great job Missy Jerfita did for us recently. We had been keeping an eye on a particular neighborhood in Glenview that we thought would be great for our family. When a house on the block came up for sale, we talked with Missy and found out what the owners were asking which turned out to be out of our reach financially, or so we thought.” “Missy suggested we take a look at what our existing home would go for in the current market. After doing some research, Missy was able to show us that our existing home would sell for much more than we had anticipated which made the possibility of purchasing the new house attainable.” We quickly engaged Missy to assist us in negotiating the deal on the new house as well as selling our existing house. Missy worked tirelessly on both fronts, making herself available at all times of the day and night. We quickly signed an agreement for the purchase of the new house, and then Missy really went to work!” “Missy went through every inch of our existing house and gave us suggestions and tips for greatly improving the ‘sale-ability’ of our house. Missy also immediately began generating interest, both within the Koenig & Strey office and the larger real estate broker community in the Glenview area.” “Bottom line: Missy was able to sell our house within 7 days of our initial conversation for more than what we were asking. More importantly, she facilitated our ‘dream’ move to a neighborhood and a house that will provide our family great friendships and memories for many years to come.” “We are extremely grateful for Missy’s tremendous efforts in making this all happen and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a real estate agent that truly has her client’s best interests as her first priority.”
Sincerely,
Keith & Lori

Pricing >If the Price Is Not Right
A real estate agent has shown you a house that you like a lot. There is only one problem--the price seems too high. In a situation like this, you can still make an offer that you feel is appropriate.
The real estate agent cannot tell you how much to offer, but he or she can give you information about the selling prices of similar homes in the area. The agent will present your offer to the sellers. They have three choices--they can accept, reject, or counter your offer.
If the house is a new listing, or if your offer is very low, they may decide to hold out for something better. Sellers frequently build a little negotiating room into their asking price. Prices that are not negotiable at the beginning of a listing period may become flexible as time goes on. If you want to test the sellers' flexibility, make them an offer.
